Jeremy Swearingen is a Partner at Roberts Law Firm, where he has practiced since 1999. Mr. Swearingen’s practice has focused on defense representation and trial litigation for various types of general liability cases, including: wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, property damage, products liability and breach of warranty/contract disputes. Mr. Swearingen has presented continuing legal education seminars on topics ranging from advanced workers’ compensation litigation practices to development of medical expert evidence in personal injury claims.
Mr. Swearingen earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Arkansas after attending as a National Merit Scholar and Chancellor’s Scholar. Thereafter, he graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law before being admitted to the Arkansas Bar in 1999. He is licensed to practice in the Eastern and Western United States District Courts in Arkansas.
He is also a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, where he has previously served on the Arkansas Bar Professionalism Task Force, the Legislative Task Force, the Arkansas Bar Commission on Diversity and the Lawyers for Literacy Committee. Mr. Swearingen has presented oral arguments on cases before the Arkansas Supreme Court and the Arkansas Court of Appeals.
Mr. Swearingen was named as a Mid-South Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2013. He is an avid distance runner and is a passionate advocate for domestic and international adoption.
